is this a common problem

the carbon fiber look bit on the the door pillers
next to the windows is falling of on my drivers side door
any one else had this problem.

have seen loads like it mate, mines starting to come off to and its an 02 i have seen kits on ebay to redo them tho ;)

Same problem here but on both the drivers and passengers doors.

Going to have a look at it when the weathers a bit better.

sounds like I must be one of the lucky ones as I've just been out to check mine (and got p*** wet through) and none of them are showing any signs of coming off.

ah im not the only one then ill have a look on ebay
then, it looks like its just stuck on. is that all there is to putting
a new one on. Pealing of the old and sticking a new one on.

got the same issue on the drivers side only. got a replacement but im not sure i will try it till its better weather

I've got the same problem on mine, just the drivers side..I'll be using that Ebay link to redo the trim, when the weather warms up a bit.

Looks like a common fault just had a look at mine and its happenng on
the drivers side, bring on the warm weather cant do anything when its like this:cool:

hi all i've got same on mine drivers side and got in touch with seller on ebay but they are different to standard vectra ones as vauxhall did a triangle pattern and ebay ones have square pattern so you would have to renew whole lot to get it to match

I've also recieved a similar reply from said ebayer today, stating that the kits are slightly different from original and that they only reccomend replacing the whole set

ah thats a pain would vx have replacement film
i know places like halfords sell stick on carbon film
hopefully in the same pattern
