can anyone out there tell me or help shed light on a fault that i have got; the engine warning light comes on when turn the key but when she fires up it goes out..please help anyone

you have two lights on a sri 150 spanner light and engine management light which one comes on muggie .

its the engine light ...but been told that this could be a common fault on vectras and nothing to worry about and also who do i see about getting the service from drive as you mentioned before?...many thanks chap..muggie

Service at drive is £157 just phone the service department pxc150s engine management light stays on untill you start the car the spanner light goes out after a second or so with the ignition on which is the check for any electical engine problems .Sounds like your car is doing what it is supposed to do
