Gearknob....

Hi all need a quick fix on my gear knob.... :mmph: cant seem to get it off...? any tips on how to... do i pull hard or unscrew it....? thanks for any response.... srimark :ballchain:

They pull off, try twisting while pulling upwards.

You might end up cursing a bit though.

i remembered wen mick did mine, he had to get a stanley knife to it as there was no other way, good job we were replacing it lol

I ended up taking a stanley knife to mine too, came off in chunks, they're a right pain in the @ss

They are a press fit on the lever a right pain in the ? . To be honest i have never managed to get one off in one piece twist and pull seems to be the way but mind your face when it does come off mate .

thank you all for your good advice.... i got it off but to my horror the new knob i bought does'nt fit.........arrrrrr.... any one no were to buy a stylish one that fits the bulky end of this stupid knob.....! Had to stick the old one back on with tape for the time being....doh. srimark

dealer lol or lmf on sunday 30th sept? he sould have some in and if your coming to the meet then your killing 2 birds with one stone ?
