Who is the stig??????

Rite peeps, new Top gear has been going on for a while now and we still dont know who the Stig is, has anyone got any ideas who he is???

i did read somewhere that the stig was perry mcarthy.i know he's raced sports cars i think he might have done a little f1 at some time.im probably wrong on it being him though.

According to info there are 5 stigs one being perry mcathy and one being Lewis Hamilton others unknown .
Other rumours in the past were Damon Hill, Tommy Makinnen, Nigel Mansil, Colin McCrae(deceased), Jason Plato, and Muller .

dont now if this is true but a friend told me that the stig was an ex car thief who got caught and to stay out of prison he was told he had to reform and do the show.a bit like how domonic woods used to be a professional thief.so ive been told anyway

Its Ben Collins guys. The document from health and safety after the Hamsters crash names him. Let my go and poke around and find the thread. There has been 2 main stigs, the first one finished in the episode where they launched the stig off the ark royal in the jag.
