ok its getting that time of year, i was at work today driving around as you do on buses :doh: and noticed someone has got there front window full of xmas lights :doh: :doh:
who has put theres up already? or wen would you put them up?

weve been passed two houses today with them up allready lol assuming you mean xmas lights:wink:
we dont tend to put them up till the 12/13th dec (like we are supposed to), with Ryans birthday being on the 11th:smile:

There is a bloke down the road from me and he's got the full lot od decs up in the house and in the garden is like santa's groto, i mean he's lighting up the street and he's had all this done now about 2 weeks ago.
Mine i dont put up until about the 10th-12th of december

Sod that, mine go up end of november.
here here but after the 1st week in december with me at the earliest.I aint no scrouge,far from it but xmas should start as quickly as its finishes(all over) how it used to be and not go on for 4 months cos come sept thats when we start noticing xmas things in the shops,god its so dam commercialised its untrue.
There thats my rant of the day done with,lol

dont mention crimbo to my wife, she started working on it in March, she is a visual merchandiser for John Lewis and had to start checking out the decoration schemes back then and started to get round to putting them in place in October, so next time you see how good a shops crimbo display looks spare a thought for 'ickle Marianne
