what i'd like to know is....The last time fuel was nearing the £1 mark, there were fuel protests everywhere, with blockades up and down the country.......How come i've heard no mention of anybody taking action like that this time?

Iv been paying well over a quid for a while as i have to use the super unleaded :jaw: tescos were i live is £105.9 but if you go fosse park at sainsdurys it was (last week) 99.9 and there is only a couple of miles in it.
I heard on the radio thursday that the goverment brought in a new rule about the blockades so it couldnt happen again. The fuel protesters have something up there sleeves a loop hole lol which will happen.
Its disgusting the prices we pay compaired to other countrys even those that don't have there own refinarys, thats why we are called rip off Briton

the bad thing is, at the end of the day they could double the prices in fuel and wed still pay it cos unless we all convert to diesels and run on chip fat,how else are we goin to get around

Due to being an old git i can remember people saying they would come off the road if petrol hit £1.00p a litre how times have changed .
All thats happing is the fuel companys are hyping the price up to gain extra profit . The goverment take 65% of the price in tax and thats before the garages etc get there cut .
In theory we should be paying about £0.35p a litre its all profit margins at the end of the day .
