lambda sensor

ive just had a sensor changed last week (bank1a i think) and the engin management light came back on the day after so i took it back to the garage where i got it done today and it came up as bank 2 so they changed that with the one they took out and the lights off agean but they think it might be the k&n filter thats knocking them off can any one shed any light on this the car is a 2.6 sri

Dont think it will be the k&n mate could be the cat itself on the way out .
