Last weekend whilst having mudflaps fitted 2 veccy estate, my mate the grease monkey noticed that my centre pipe had rusted away 2 nothing right where it meets the back box!!!!
oh flipping heck!!!!! was my response(yeah right) so due to lack of funds and no credit cards (all cut up, am a good husband now) i proceeded to ask the better half may i borrow hers to purchase a new exhaust
she says " how much are they?"
i say " don't think they're to dear"
she says " ok but don't go stupid"
so on2 ebay i jumps and proceeded to purchase a stainless remus centre section and a magnex 6" X 4" oval "silencer" all for the sum of £239, it arrived on tuesday, was fitted yesterday, and OH MY GOD what a sound and what a difference it has made to the overall performance.
So what i am trying to say in a very long winded way is:-
TO ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO TOLD ME THAT REMUS AND MAGNEX WAS THE WAY TO GO, I THANK YOU ALL AND LOOK FORWARD TO COMPARING EXHAUST NOTES IN MAY AT THE 888 BASH, and from my wife and neighbours, you are all a buch of bar-stewards for giving me the advice

it sounds very nice when leaving "undesirables" at traffic lights, the exhaust note and the K&N induction unit dragging in all the air from the surrounding area makes a fantastic sound!!!!
all it needs now is a turbo whistle and nitrous :boom:

What was your uncle mick saying to you about getting a remus centre section and a magnex rear box lol.
You tend to find that by fitting this type of system draws more air into the 57i k&N and makes it sound awesome big dee as you have more than likely noticed.
Well done mate a conversion i have been harping on about for ages to people.
Its nice to see you have benefited from the advice of myself and other members on the site.
Also the system will give your car a healthy power increase as a added bonus.

What i have found amanda is if you put a scorpion back box mated to a remus centre section they tend to rasp abit definatly on a 2.5 vectra.
Have not heard one on the 2.0 litre model but some have said it still does it babes.
